Not only are our kefir krauts packed with billions of gut friendly bacteria, but provide the perfect prebiotic soluble fibre for gut health to support your microbiome.
All our vegetables are soaked in bicarbonate of soda and vinegar, then washed in treated water. This removes 80-90% of any pesticide, herbicide and fungicide residues, without the excessive cost of organic vegetables.
Celtic salts are then added with 82 trace minerals to commence the process.
Lastly, to the prepared vegetables, we add our unique primary fermented water kefir containing trillions of lactobacillus, bifidobacteria and leuconostoc strains,
hence the name KEFIR KRAUT.
Once our Tibico primary ferments are added to the freshly prepared ingredients, each batch is locked down for a few months to generate the anaerobic growth of gut friendly cultures and a multitude of organic compounds that are essential to our wellbeing and health.
The dark red colours of red cabbage, beetroot and carrot deliver high amounts of carotenoids and polyphenols..
